  1. You begin your adventure in
  2. the land of Landria.
  3.  
  4. It is said that all the magic
  5. in Landria can be controlled
  6. by three magical crystals.
  7. Whomever possesses these
  8. three crystals will control
  9. very strong magical powers.
  10.  
  11.  In the past, there were three
  12. continents in Landria each
  13. with its own king. Each of
  14. these three kings had one
  15. crystal.
  16.  One unfortunate day, an evil
  17. gargoyle came to the kingdom
  18. of Landria and stole the
  19. crystals from the kings so
  20. that he could be ruler and
  21. control the land. He used the
  22. powers of the crystals to
  23. increase his own strength and
  24. make himself more powerful.
  25. He then broke each of the
  26. three magic crystals into
  27. four pieces and hid the
  28. twelve pieces all across
  29. the three continents of
  30. Landria.
  31.  
  32.  The kings have chosen you,
  33. their bravest knight to
  34. journey about the land and
  35. retrieve all the pieces of
  36. the crystals from their
  37. hiding places on the
  38. continents. Then, using the
  39. power instilled in the
  40. crystals, overpower and
  41. destroy the gargoyle.
  42. Finally, return the crystals
  43. to each of the kings of your
  44. kingdom.

  46.  Since this game is shareware
  47. you will only be able to
  48. retrieve the four pieces of
  49. one crystal, and not fully
  50. complete your quest.
